- Why did you choose to become a private practice therapist?
The opportunity to work in an autonomous setting and do what I’m most passionate about guided my decision to practice privately after working for years in non – profit.
- What is special to you about the therapeutic relationship?
The most special thing about the therapeutic relationship is that it cultivates itself and changes with the growth pattern (positive and/or negative) with the freedom to adjust as necessary. No definitely rules, mostly mutual respect.
- Why do you enjoy treating the concerns in your area of expertise?
I enjoy empowering people to embrace their strength and learn to shape the world around them without feeling victimized by circumstances.
- How do you keep yourself mentally healthy and connected?
I get out often and laugh lots. I keep good friends and engage in healthy social activities.
- What is special to you about LiveWell Group?
What’s special to me about LiveWell Group is the environment and acceptance of me as a professional and the connectedness I felt when I first met Renee and Sean. This practice makes me feel very welcomed and was an excellent practice to join as I transitioned from Illinois to Ohio. Family is so important to me in my personal life and this practice too feels like family.
